Commercial Trust Company President Janet Jacobs presented the donation to Fayette R-III Superintendent Brent Doolin, accompanied by representatives from both the school district and the bank.

The new sign, installed by Alexander and Associates, provides an updated and dynamic way to keep the community informed. Its display features current time and weather details, student achievements, upcoming school events, and employment opportunities within the district.

“Commercial Trust has been proud to stand beside Fayette R-III Schools in a variety of ways through the years,” said Jacobs, a graduate of Fayette High School. “Our schools are truly the heart of this community, and supporting them is a reflection of our Falcon pride. We hope this new sign serves as a source of pride for everyone who calls Fayette home.”

This project is one of many examples of Commercial Trust Company’s ongoing commitment to the community. Each year, the bank contributes thousands of dollars to support local programs, schools, and organizations throughout Fayette and Howard County.

Located on the Fayette square since 1902, Commercial Trust has served generations of families and businesses. The family-owned bank employs more than 40 local residents and remains dedicated to providing personalized service while investing in the people and progress of the community it calls home.
