A Boost for CMU Athletics
Commercial Trust is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Central Methodist University through a $50,000 contribution toward a new videoboard and scoreboard inside Puckett Field House.
This addition enhances the experience for student-athletes, students, families, and fans. It brings a new level of energy and excitement to each game while supporting the continued growth of CMU athletics. Moments that bring people together, whether regular season games or special events, will now carry even greater impact.

Supporting the Future of the Fairgrounds
Commercial Trust is also proud to support the ongoing effort to complete the Howard County Event Center at the fairgrounds.
To assist with fundraising, Commercial Trust Company, along with Jay and Kelly Jacobs, has pledged to match funds raised after January 20, 2026, up to $120,000. This matching effort is intended to encourage continued community involvement and help move the project toward completion.
The Fairground Development Association has already generated strong momentum, with $39,500 raised in December alone. Contributions from local residents, businesses, and supporters continue to demonstrate the importance of this project.
The fairgrounds have long served as a gathering place for Howard County. From annual fairs to local events and agricultural traditions, it remains a central part of community life. The addition of the event center will provide new opportunities while preserving those traditions for future generations.
